This painting developed over years in my mind. It's of Cody Peak in the Tetons, just South of Grand Teton Mountain Resort. However, this particular painting looks almost nothing like the reference photo! It's an idea for me of the ideal mountain hike in the early summer. I did numerous studies and an 18x24 in preparation for this painting.
