Prismacolor, Polychromos and Holbein colored pencils on Strathmore 500 series cold pressed illustration board, using my own photo references, imagination and actual live Luna moths that my son and I raised and studied. This piece used 600 hours of layering pencils with no solvents; all hand drawn.
