I painted this at Chautauqua Park in Boulder, Colorado during PACE23. It wasn’t done 100% plein air because it started to rain. So I finished it at a brewpub in Boulder and ended up selling on the spot. Also, the skies were hazy from the smoke of the wildfires in Canada which was flowing down to Colorado, so I tried to capture that here.
