The Old Bath House in Crested Butte
In the late 1800's in Crested Butte Colorado the miners and towns folk would get off the train and walk across the street from the depot to bathe and sleep at the bath house before travelling up to the silver mines in the nearby mountains . Now Mick's home and recently given 20 gallons of paint . The retired family skiis adorn the picket fence and Micks red Chevy has been driven many a dirt road fishing since the 80's. Painted late afternoon over two days plein air the deep mulberry colored wide naturally coarse cut plank siding with its deep splits caught my eye because of its rustic unusual appearance . I had to tell the story of this survivor today.
