Flamenco

I have always been inspired by the lovely Flamenco dancers of Barcelona and have been watching them for many years. I love the flowing movement and the way they are always so intense with their dance moves. My goal in this painting was to capture the action of the dancer and invite the viewer to feel the music and the movement of the dancer. They take their dancing very seriously and put many hours into learning the proper gestures and dance steps. I just love their culture and ways!
