I painted this of a scene near the desert in a protected area. The stream itself was rare there and often dries up, but to see two ducks in the shallow water was serendipitous. The reflections of the sky in this patch of water with the ripples made by the ducks created a rare moment to capture. The water was also shallow and the water so clear that one could see below the surface with immense clarity.
