Mission San Miguel de Arcangel

The texture of these old buildings caught my eye first and foremost, on my visit to one of the least-restored missions among the 21 missions in California. With a painting knife, I built impasto passages to simulate the texture of the old adobe and 250-year-old dirt of the mission buildings and grounds.
