There's no shadows without light

Oil paint on canvas are my main tools that i use for plein air. I like working with light and greenery, like I did with this painting. What a wonderful feeling to find a an interesting shaped tree in the middle of the forest. I loved it's shape and the light hitting behind it. The branches are open wide, like a hug made a beautiful composition. Soon I discovered that the stronger the light, the stronger are the shadows. They spread everywhere and gave me a wonderful image. I hope the viewer sees the magic that i just captured.
