Leaving an event early one evening, this scene made me stop in awe and curiosity; bright white 'shapes' dotted the stand of trees and those shapes occasionally moved! Once I realized they were big birds I decided to capture the view and my joy in seeing it. I quickly set up my easel and oil paints as the light was fading fast. It was a fun and quite intuitive process!
