The title of this painting is a play on words for the mysterious orbs said to be seen in the desert in West Texas just outside the city limits of Marfa Texas. I remember leaving a restaurant and remarking how the moon and the streetlights lit up Marfa's downtown streets. In case you didn't spot the lights out in the desert, you can see them in town! This painting was completed with a light charcoal sketch then direct application of soft pastel.
