I had the wonderful opportunity to do a photo shot with this beautiful Friesan horse. When I saw this pose I was reminded of the Native American Proverb, "Listen to the voice of Nature for it holds treasures for you." Painted in oil, I used a wipe out technique to create the background foliage. The backlit glow emphasized the reverence of the moment.
