Growing up on my grandparents farm taught me many things - a life commitment to the beauty of nature and animals and a deep respect for both. A self-sustaining farm, modest as it may be, is quite an accomplishment - more easily appreciated the longer one lives and the more aware of how fleeting such marvels are becoming.
